Meritage Update

We are very pleased to announce that Philip Cole, CFA, has joined Meritage as a Senior Client Portfolio Manager.

 

Philip comes to us from Bank of America Private Bank, Kansas City, where he led a team of financial advisors in portfolio management and client service.  His work with ultra-high net worth families and institutions gives him a valuable perspective on managing client-specific investment and planning needs.

Philip is a member of the Meritage Investment Team.  His primary focus is to provide additional breadth in supporting client relationships.  This step continues our efforts to build the firm’s longer-term leadership capabilities.

Philip holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Kansas.  He grew up in Boston and began his schooling at Northeastern University, before transferring to KU.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, joining seven other CFAs at the firm.

Philip and his wife, Lindsey, live in Overland Park.  He is an active volunteer for several local not-for-profit organizations and plays multiple musical instruments in his spare time.
